I am always trying to come up with cute ideas for kids birthday cards so when Heart to Heart had a birthday card challenge I thought I would show off some of my creations. Did you know you can curl the waxy flax!?! Just wrap it tightly around whatever size round thing you want and it stays very well.

The first two cards use It's A Zoo c1360, Sweet Baby c1359, Atomic Lowercase Alphabet (no longer available) and Happy Birthday c1257. Cardstock - White Daisy, Sunflower, Tulip, Clover Meadow, and Desert Sand. Ink colors are Dutch Blue, Tulip and Sunflower. Fibers - white ric rac, Cranberry grosgrain, sunflower waxy flax and linen thread. Other items - brads, nestabillities, eyelets and metal rimmed tag.

These next two cards I stamplifted the ideas from the summer, 2010 CTMH catalog. Of course, I added my own twist. Items I used on one or both are; Stamps - Robot Power c1354, Believe in Your Dreams B1322. Designer paper - Tinkerin' Level 2 paper pack x7113b. Cardstock and ink colors - White Daisy (cardstock only), Sunny Yellow, Clover Meadow, Cranberry and Twilight. Cranberry grosgrain ribbon. Crandberry brads. Creative Memories circle cutter, white embroidery floss and Martha Stewart border punch.
